Incredible $30 Map-Making Humble Bundle Represents a Online Gaming GM's Dream
After a short availability back in April, the Map Making Mega Bundle has returned for a limited time available until Dec. 2. Described as a "treasure trove of assets and apps" created by a specialized software company over the years, the complete package carries a value of more than thirteen hundred dollars. Additionally, there exist multiple package options available here.
Primary Feature
The big draw is definitely permanent access for Campaign Cartographer 3+, an industry-standard cartography program which enables users to create everything from fantasy overworld maps, smaller regional maps, city maps, and most notably, dungeon and tabletop battle maps.
An imaginative landscape chart created using Campaign Cartographer 3+.
Package Levels
Entry Level
The cheapest bundle tier, starting at just one dollar, features merely four from the thirty-nine available products: Symbol Set 1: Fantasy Overland, Monster Token Pack 1, Source Maps: Castles!, Urban Source Maps. This one's only for cartographers who already have CC3+, yet it provides new fantasy symbol styles for overworld maps, over seven hundred fifty creature tokens compatible with online gaming platforms, over twenty-five top-down castle layouts with 470 associated map tokens, eight complete urban centers, and more than 70 urban floorplans.
Mid-Range Option
The eight-item bundle starting at fifteen dollars is where things get more interesting by adding in a lifetime CC3+ license, the first Annual volume, Tome of Ultimate Mapping, Isometric Cities Symbol Pack. Cartographer's Annual is the annual collection from the company's long-running monthly subscription service which includes multiple CC3+ enhancements including map packs and various other tools. Isometric Cities lets you display cities with an extra dimension with isometric views from multiple angles. Meanwhile, the Mapping Tome comprises 760 pages suitable for novices and experts, packed with guidance and instructions covering cartography techniques.

You can even design character illustrations. At thirty versus fifteen dollars, the full bundle offers tremendous value, especially for cartographers who have only the annual CC3+ license and want to upgrade to lifetime. However, it's clearly an even better deal for map-making newbies considering you even get introductory guides to facilitate learning. The one caveat here though the purchase is available on any platform, the applications only function with Windows systems.
Charitable Component
Similar to previous bundles, a portion of each sale goes to benefit a nonprofit. In this instance, the beneficiary is Save the Children, an organization founded by Eglantyne Jebb in 1919 focused on improving the lives of children worldwide through education, health care, and emergency relief. The Bundle Filters option appear near the page top, though users may also choose their donation amount in the right-hand section. Additionally available is an donation allocation menu immediately below, enabling adjustment of the distribution percentage allocated between the platform, developer, and charity.
